Enough with the talk about the escalation

Please, for god’s sake can we give it a rest on the feverish discussions on the Escalation of troops in Iraq?  What the fucking hell is going on here?  People are actually taking the time to pass resolutions on this strategy and blogs are inundated with gloating posts and diaries regarding how much support these resolutions have even in Republican circles of influence and that the Democrats are doing the right thing by vociferously opposing this clusterfuck addendum.  Have progressives lost the plot here?
